If you are already registered with CTEC as a person able to prepare tax returns for pay, please email your resume to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to apply for a tax preparation job for the upcoming tax season. Please include a cover letter explaining why you think you'd be a good fit for our company. We are looking for at least 3-5 great people to join our team for the upcoming tax season, so right now we are in the resume-collecting phase.

We are especially interested in receiving resumes from applicants who are fluent in both English and Spanish.

If you are "new to the game" and are not yet a professional, paid tax preparer, for instance if you have no tax experience whatsoever...no problem! We can teach you everything you need to know. Just last year we hired three tax preparers who were brand new and thanks to our comprehensive training program, they did great.

However, in order to be eligible to work at Pronto Income Tax (or any other tax company, for that matter), you need to complete a "Basic Income Tax" course provided by a CTEC-approved Qualifying Education Provider, and you need to register with CTEC (California Tax Education Council). Luckily, Pronto Income Tax of California, Inc. is a CTEC-Approved Qualifying Education Provider. This means that we can help you go from having no tax experience to working as a professional, paid tax preparer.
